The new One Piece spoils show us, for the first picture, a drunk Kaido asking what his son is doing right now, because he wants him at his banquet to introduce him to Big Mom who is currently putting on a kimono. For the second one, the picture shows us the arrival of the « Flying Six ». Chapter 977 of One Piece will be available on Scantrad on 04/10/2020.

Last minute news:
Due to a case of COVID19 at Shueisha, Jump 21 to be released on April 20th would be deleted to become a double Jump 21-22 on April 27th (that doesn’t mean two chapters). This means that next week there will be no One Piece chapter.
Face à un nomu plus fort et plus rapide que lui, Endeavor est mal barré. De plus, le monstre parle et semble penser par lui-même ! Alors, pendant que les deux adversaires s’en donnent à cœur joie, Hawk s’efforce d’amortir les dégâts humains et matériel avant de partir prêter main-forte au héros de flamme. Ne voulant pas d’interférence durant son combat, le brainless encapuchonné expulse de son corps des Whites nomus, afin de maintenir l’aide à l’écart.

Malgré ses puissantes attaques, Endeavor est poussé dans ses retranchements, blessé. Tout porte à croire qu’il va perdre, ce qui provoque une panique chez les civiles et les journalistes témoins de l’affrontement.
Endeavor en mauvaise posture
Alors que tout espoir semble disparaitre, le seul qui continue de lutter de toutes ses forces est Endeavor. Une obstination qui faisait de lui l’unique héros à avoir cherché à dépasser All Might. De son côté, Hawk aussi n’est pas près d’abandonner, mais, conscient qu’il n’a pas la force pour le vaincre, il décide d’aider celui qu’il a toujours admiré.

Les attaques conventionnelles sont inefficaces, Endeavor se doit d’aller au-delà de ses limites, « Plus Ultra ». Il doit donner plus que ce qu’il a. Emmenant le nomu à une bonne distance qui lui permettra de ne pas mettre en danger la population, il lance un « Prominence Burn » d’une incroyable puissance !

Le monde entier retient son souffle ! Et c’est émergeant des flammes, le poing levé en l’air, reprenant la pose d’All Might que le nouveau numéro un annonce sa victoire et envoie dans le même temps un message : un symbole de la paix vient de faire ses débuts !

Le soulagement est général à UA, surtout pour Shôto. Après avoir été témoin de ce combat, Deku comprend que les héros ne s’arrêteront jamais de lutter contre le mal et qu’eux, étudiants de UA, se doivent d’être prêts à porter ce fardeau !
Midoriya fait connaissance en plein reve du premier receptacle du One for All
Tard dans la nuit, alors que tout le monde dort, Midoriya se réveille violemment après avoir fait un étrange rêve ou les précédents réceptacles décédés du One for All sont présent. Ils sont tous là à observer All for One semblant donner le puissant alter à son jeune frère puis ce dernier se tourne vers Deku en disant simplement « Alors c’est toi le neuvième ».
Un superbe épisode qui conclut parfaitement cette quatrième saison. C’est devenu monnaie courante avec MHA. Hirokoshi parvient à chaque fois, et avec prouesse, à créer des instants de parfaite catharsis dans lesquels des personnages secondaires prennent momentanément la première place. Comme c’est le cas ici avec Endeavor. Depuis le début du manga, l’auteur nous le vend comme étant un père horrible, autoritaire, obsessionnel, ayant poussé sa femme dans la dépression. Mais comme le mangaka touche sa bille en ce qui concerne l’écriture d’une histoire, ce personnage, avec son nouveau statut, se doit de changer, d’évoluer.
Endeavor est comme toute personne dans la vie réelle : bourré de défauts. Et comme dans la vie, il grandit au fur et à mesure de ses expériences, de ses erreurs, de ses réalisations et ses rencontres. C’est là le talent d’Hirokoshi de créer des personnages complexes et intéressants et surtout pas manichéens : un bon développement pour faire simple. Dans cet épisode, il est enfin à la place qu’il convoitait depuis si longtemps, celle du numéro 1. Mais succéder à All Might comme le nouveau symbole de la paix est loin d’être une sinécure. Lui qui durant toute sa vie, a été obsédé par cette place, réalise grâce à son fils Shoto et à All Might qu’il faisait fausse route. Engagé sur le chemin de la rédemption, il fait face à un nomu d’une puissance inégalée et dotée d’une personnalité qui le renvoie à ce qu’il était, à ce qu’il aurait pu devenir. S’il veut aller de l’avant, il doit affronter son passé.
Grand final de cette dernière saison, une 5e à des à présent été annoncer et, aux vues de la scène post générique qu’on nous a montré, il y a fort à parier qu’on en apprendra plus sur le One for All, ainsi que sur les précédents réceptacles.

Despite his powerful attacks, Endeavor is pushed into his entrenchments, wounded. All signs suggest that he is going to lose, causing panic among civilians and journalists who are witnessing the confrontation.

While all hope seems to be gone, the only one who continues to fight with all his might is Endeavor. A stubbornness that made him the only hero to have sought to surpass All Might. Hawk, too, is not about to give up, but, aware that he doesn’t have the strength to defeat the enemy, he has decided to help the man he has always admired.

Conventional attacks are ineffective, Endeavor must go beyond its limits, « Plus Ultra ». He must give more than he has. Taking the nomu to a distance that will allow him not to endanger the population, he launches a « Prominence Burn » of incredible power!

The whole world is holding its breath! And it is emerging from the flames, fist raised in the air, adopting the pose of All Might that the new number one announces his victory and at the same time sends a message: a new symbol of peace has just made its debut!

The relief is general in UA, especially for Shôto. After witnessing this fight, Deku understands that heroes will never stop fighting evil and that they, students of UA, must be ready to carry this burden!
Midoriya meets in the middle of a dream the first receptacle of One for All
Late at night, while everyone is asleep, Midoriya wakes up violently after having a strange dream where the previous deceased vessels of One for All are present. They are all there watching All for One seeming to give the powerful Qirk to his younger brother. Then the latter turns to Deku simply saying « So you’re the ninth ».
A superb episode which concludes perfectly this fourth season. Hirokoshi manages each time, and with prowess, to create moments of perfect catharsis in which secondary characters momentarily take the first place. As is the case here with Endeavor. Since the beginning of the manga, the author shows us how horrible of a father, Shoto’s dad is. He is authoritarian, obsessive, and he even pushed his wife into depression. When it comes to writing a story, the mangaka is second to none this character.
Endeavor is like any person in real life: full of flaws. And as in life, he grows through his experiences, his mistakes, his achievements and his encounters. This is Hirokoshi’s talent to create complex and interesting characters and especially not Manichean: a good development to keep it simple. In this episode, he is finally in that spot his had been dreaming of for so long, that of number 1. But succeeding All Might as the new symbol of peace is far from being a sinecure. He, who has been obsessed with this ranking all his life, realized thanks to his son Shoto and All Might that he was on the wrong path, and that he had to change, to evolve.
On the road to redemption, he faces a nomu of unparalleled power and with a personality that sends him back to what he was, to what he could have become. If he wants to move forward, he must face his past.
Grand finale of this last season, a 5th to be announced now and, given the post-generic scene we were shown, it’s a good bet that we’ll learn more about One for All, as well as the previous shows.

Pour l’instant, Momonosuke est toujours aux mains de Kanjuro, et ce dernier s’apprête à fuir. Kawamatsu fonce sur le traitre pour l’en empêcher, mais le fourbe avait prévu le coup en dessinant une superbe grue pour s’échapper par les airs et, au passage, il calligraphie un nuage d’encre qui fait pleuvoir des gouttes en forme de flèches. Cet homme a bien caché l’étendue de son pouvoir à tout le monde !

Voyant la position dans laquelle son kidnapping a mis la rébellion, Momonosuke crie à tous qu’il s’en sortira seul et qu’ils ne devaient pas perdre de vue leurs objectifs premiers : défaire Kaido et Orochi ! Un comportement « d’homme » pour Luffy qui lui répond qu’il se doit de survivre, car il viendra à coup sûr le sauver !

Cap alors sur Onigashima. Des trois navires de guerre de Kaido qui étaient présents, il n’en reste plus qu’un. Rebroussant chemin, tout le monde le voyait fuir. Mais ce dernier s’était juste mis à bonne distance pour se protéger de tir de la rébellion et armé des super canons fabriqués à Wano, commença à couler les bateaux de la coalition.

Une position qui désavantage fortement les alliés de Luffy, car ils se retrouvent à perdre des navires sans pouvoir empêcher cela. Enfin, c’était sans compter sur l’aide d’un invité surprise. Sortant de nulle part et détruisant ce dernier navire de guerre de Kaido, Jinbe, le paladin des mers, tient sa promesse faite Wholecake Island à son capitaine en rejoignant les Mugiwaras, sous le regard éberlué de Kid et Law !

Un chapitre plutôt bon dans l’ensemble. On retiendra que Kinemon a bien compris de travers le message codé, que Kanjuro cachait bien à ses anciens partenaires l’étendue de ses pouvoirs. Chose importante, le personnage de Momonosuke a évolué, à gagner en prestige et en courage, comme le lui avait conseillé Luffy, ce que ce dernier ne manque pas d’approuver. Ce personnage commence à prendre de la profondeur et risque de devenir très intéressant dans l’avenir. Et pour le clou du spectacle, le rebondissement final de ce chapitre : le retour de Jinbe ! L’équipage des Mugiwaras est enfin au complet, et avec cette arrivée, il se positionne, sans conteste, comme le groupe de pirate le plus redoutable des trois réunit, ce qui est confirmé par l’incrédulité de Kid et de Law. La semaine prochaine, nous aurons surement droit à un petit flashback de l’ancien capitaine corsaire sur « comment a-t-il fait pour échapper à Big Mom ».

A » manly » behavior for Luffy who shouts back that he has to survive, because he will definitely come to save him!

Then, the course is set for Onigashima. Of Kaido’s three warships that were there, only one remains. Turning back, everyone thought he was running away. But he had just put himself at a safe distance to protect himself from the rebel fire and armed with Wano-made super cannons, began to sink the coalition ships.
A strange attack from the sea drilled through Kaido’s boat
A position that puts Luffy’s allies at a great disadvantage, as they find themselves losing ships and being unable to prevent this. But, coming out of nowhere and destroying Kaido’s last warship, Jinbe, the paladin of the seas, keeps his promise made in Wholecake Island to his captain and joins the Mugiwaras, in front of Kid and Law’s dumbfounded gaze!

A pretty good chapter overall.We’ll remember that Kinemon misunderstood the coded message and that Kanjuro hid the extent of his powers from his former partners. Importantly, Momonosuke’s character has evolved, gaining in prestige and courage, as Luffy had advised him to do, which he didn’t fail to approve of. This character is beginning to gain depth and may become very interesting in the future. And for the highlight of the show, the final twist of this chapter: the return of Jinbe! The Mugiwaras’ crew is finally complete, and with this arrival, it positions itself, without a doubt, as the most formidable pirate group of the three gathered, which is confirmed by the disbelief of Kid and Law. Next week, we’ll probably get a little flashback from the forme Warlord on « how he escaped from Big Mom ».

En ce 1er avril, en ce jour de blague, Shonen Jump Plus lance une campagne autour du célèbre « Bobobo-bo bo-bobo » de Hiroo Sawai. Pour cette occasion, remise au goût du jour d’une version revisitée datant de 2008 de Death Note par le papa du maitre du Hanaga Shinken (le poing divin du poil de nez) .
Toujours en lien avec la campagne du Shonen Jump Plus, le spéciale OneShot de « Bobobo-bo bo-bobo », mais dessiné par Takeshi Obata (Death Note ; Bakuman) de 2008 aussi.
Voici le ranking du # 18 2020 du Weekly Shonen Jump. On constatera que Chainsaw Man la bonne performance de Chainsaw Man, en 4eplace. Pour ce qui est du trio de tête, pas vraiment de surprise. Par contre, petite baisse de régime pour Jujustu Kaisen et Black Clover, mais rien de bien méchant. Pour la dernière place, on retrouve à nouveau Zipman !!. Abonné aux dernières places, la série de devrait plus tarder à prendre fin.

Report de sortie pour la prochaine loterie Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball HISTORY OF RIVALS. Initialement prévue pour le 28 mars 2020, elle devrait finalement sortir le 9 mai 2020. Une loterie intéressante, car, outre la figurine Yamcha et Broly forme normale DBS (des personnages plutôt rares en figurines), on pourra gagner une toute nouvelle gamme de petites figurines, les « Dragon Archives ».

On the other hand, a small dip for Jujustu Kaisen and Black Clover, but nothing too bad. For the last place, we once again found Zipman !!. Subscribed to the last places, the series might end.

The next Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball is postponed to May.
Postponement of release for the next Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball HISTORY OF RIVALS lottery. Initially scheduled for March 28, 2020, it should finally be released on May 9, 2020. An interesting lottery, because, in addition to the Yamcha and Broly normal form DBS figurine (rather rare characters in figurines), we will be able to win a brand new range of small figurines, the « Dragon Archives ».
In chapter 259, one of the latest released to this day, a cameo from one of the new heroes of the Weekly Shonen Jump went almost unnoticed. It’s Denji’s from Chainsaw Man. A tribute from Kōhei Horikoshi who demonstrates his interest in this actions-gore series which, although published in the same magazine as My Hero Academia, is nonetheless aimed at a young-adult audience.
Netflix is in the house!
Ghost in the shell: SAC 2045 finally has a release date for the streaming platform : April 23rd, 2020. And in order to keep the fans happy, Netflix has also released a trailer. And we hope the series won’t be the disaster it seems to be.
But that’s not all, Netflix also announced the date for Baki’s season 2. Entitled Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen, it will cover the arc of the Great Chinese Challenge. See you on June 4, 2020.
The end is the begining of…
Chapter 346 of Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) by Nakaba Suzuki was the last of the series… At least, that’s what we thought, because a sequel is already planned with the title Mokushiroku no Yon -kishi. Translation: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!
Many fans found that the end of Nanatsu no Taizai, stretched out in length. Let’s hope this sequel will bring freshness with a new story and, why not, new protagonists.
Still with the Seven Deadly Sins, a first trailer for the 4th season of the anime: Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan. It is scheduled for October 2020.
A first teaser for Tite Kubo’s witches
Last week’s announcement of the serialization and animated film adaptation of Tite Kubo’s One Shot, Burn the Witch, gave way to a first teaser. This new adventure is set in the UK, located in the same world as Bleach’s. (v eng : https://jaiminisbox.com/reader/read/burn-the-witch/en/0/0/page/1)
Kimetsu no Yaiba on PS4
The manga, which since its animated adaptation beats all records, will be getting its video game version only on PS4. The Japanese studio CyberConnect2 (Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot) is in charge of the project and offers us a first trailer of the game scheduled for 2021.
